Music Scholarship Award

The Eric T. Schabacker Recording & Music Business Scholarship Award Program was established several years ago for the purpose of providing real world educational opportunities to young performing musicians, vocalists, songwriters and recording enthusiasts. This scholarship is awarded to only one individual per year and gives the recipient the once in a lifetime privilege of studying for one week with music business veteran Eric Schabacker at his Winterwood Estate in the Ozark Mountains. Among the subjects covered are band and artist promotional techniques, bookings and management, copyrights, the world of music publishing, songwriting tips, studio preparation, an overview of the latest recording methods and procedures and much more. This is a total Scholarship. There are no charges involved other than the recipient's transportation to and from Winterwood Studios, meals and local overnight accommodations.
